Getting your driver’s license and being able to drive about by yourself is pretty exciting, so if you are of age and are willing to get your hand on that driver’s license, these are the things you’ll need to know. The passing score in the Massachusetts permit test is 72%. The test consists of a total number of 25 questions out of which 18 have to be answered correctly in order to pass the driver’s license test. You will be given 25 minutes to complete the test and the questions will be displayed to you on an automated test station.

A fee of $30 needs to be paid in order to take the permit test. If you get past the permit test, it will now be time for the road test. In order for you to take the road test, you’ll need to qualify for two things. The first one is to have a learner’s permit and the second is to have a clean driving record for up to six months prior to taking the road test. Applicants between the age of 16 and 18 will need to pay a fee of $50 in order to get their hands on a Junior operator’s license.
